If you’ve never heard of Swiss indie-rocker ‘Sam Himself’ then you’re about to….
Sam’s unique sound blends influences from both his homeland and American influences, ranging from folk to punk and is fueled by his contagious, sonic energy. Today he’s announcing his sophomore album titled Never Let Me Go.
Upon first listen you’ll quickly realize the stark contrast between his debut album, Power Ballads, and this new project: the first having been created during the isolation-ridden times of Covid-19. Never Let Me Go is an embodiment of Sam’s newfound hope. Recorded in collaboration with long-time producer Daniel Schlett and mastering engineer Greg Calbi, the album features Chris Egan (Solange; Blood Orange) on drums and Josh “JD” Werner (Ghostface Killah; CocoRosie) on bass. The all-star cast is sure to not disappoint.
In anticipation of the full album, Sam Himself’s previously released singles ‘Mr. Rocknroll’, ‘Golden Days’ and the title track ‘Never Let Me Go’ do a fantastic job of teasing what’s to come.

Be sure to catch Sam on his recently announced European Tour early this year (Berlin, Vienna, Hamburg and Zurich, with more to follow) and see Never Let Me Go live in action.
In a world that is constantly shifting, Never Let Me Go captures a moment in time – it’s a record that will leave you feeling energized and ready to take on whatever life throws at you.
